End2End appoints Bernadette Lyons as new MD for VAS business- Signals closer co-operation between End2End and MACH-
End2End, the managed service solution provider for mobile data, today announced the appointment of Bernadette Lyons as the new Managing Director of End2End’s VAS business. Bernadette will be responsible for the strategic development of End2End VAS as it cooperates more closely with its parent company MACH.
As before End2End will continue to be run independently from MACH operating as a standalone company, however the two companies will work closely together as they jointly pursue new business opportunities in the evolving telecoms market.
Bernadette brings to her new appointment a wealth of experience working in telecoms and high tech that spans more than 15 years. Before joining End2End she was the Chief Operating Officer of Digital Rum. However it was during her five year spell at Mobile 365 as Vice President of EMEA that she made her mark in the industry, driving the business forward to become the leader in mobile messaging in Europe.
Martin Lippert, the Chief Executive of MACH, explained: “Bernadette was the ideal choice for us because of her wealth of knowledge and experience of the mobile industry, plus her expertise in marketing and business development. The telecoms market is an extremely exciting and fast moving sector and Bernadette has the right pedigree and experience to take End2End’s VAS business to the next level.”
Bernadette assumes responsibility for End2End VAS from December 2006 taking over from outgoing Managing Director Atte Miettinen, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities. Mr Miettinen served in various senior management roles with End2End over six years turning the company into a leader in its field of mobile content delivery.
