New CEO to lead End2End into next phase of development
End2End, Europe’s leading managed service provider for mobile data services, today announced that Soren Ravn has joined the company as its new CEO. Ravn joins End2End from Telenor, where he had been serving as Vice President of Central and Eastern Europe. He brings with him a significant amount of sales and marketing experience, as well as expertise from the ASP and hosting industry.
“We are happy to welcome Soren Ravn to End2End as the company’s new CEO,” said Keith Cornell, Chairman of End2End. “Soren’s expertise in selling and marketing ASP solutions will be valuable in helping us continue to successfully expand and grow our business into new markets.”
“End2End has a strong business model and has been successful at establishing itself as the leader in the delivery of managed services for the mobile data market,” said Soren Ravn. “I am excited to join End2End and work closely with the board, management team and customers to take the company into its next phase of development.”
Ravn replaces Tage Rasmussen, who has moved on to become COO of MSI Cellular. Rasmussen will continue to play an important role in the strategic direction of the company as a member of the board of directors. “Tage Rasmussen was instrumental to the existing growth of End2End in his roles as CEO and previously COO,” Cornell further commented. “We are sorry to see Tage go, but are pleased that he will continue to play an important role in the company as a member of the board”.
Prior to joining Telenor, Ravn worked for several years with Computer Associates, where his latest position was Divisional Senior Vice President Channels for Europe. Ravn has also been responsible for sales and marketing for companies such as Hewlett-Packard AS and ITC Scandinavia. He holds both a BBA and an MBA from the Aarhus School of Business Administration. He has recently returned to Denmark from the Czech Republic and now resides in Aalborg.
