Proximus partners with End2End for the delivery of content download services
Proximus, Belgium’s largest mobile operator, and End2End, Europe’s leading managed service provider for mobile data services, today announced a partnership to deliver content download services to Proximus subscribers.
As part of the agreement, End2End is delivering a turnkey managed service solution for Proximus’ Game Zone, which was launched today in Belgium.
Game Zone enables both post and pre-paid customers of Proximus to download Java games to mobile handsets, including a variety of Nokia models, as well as the Sony Ericsson P800. Games are available in several categories, including action, adventure, arcade, casino, love, sports and quiz & puzzle. Subscribers can access the Game Zone and initiate the download of games via the Proximus Interactive WAP Portal, and soon also via both SMS and the Proximus Interactive Web Portal.
End2End is responsible for delivering a turnkey Managed Service Solution for the Game Zone, including development and hosting of the Web and WAP sites and hosting and management of the content download platform, as well as supply and management of content.
