SONOFON and End2End accelerate deployment of mobile data services after commercial proof of MAIP concept

Danish mobile network operator SONOFON and End2End, the leading Mobile Application Infrastructure Provider (MAIP), today announced the acceleration of their deployment of mobile data services and infrastructure to SONOFON’s one million subscribers.

Under the arrangement, SONOFON will strengthen its relationship with End2End by sourcing additional applications from End2End during 2002. The initial 12 consumer applications to be deployed over the next month are split into three product segments: games, dating and sports. The selection of individual applications is a result of joint efforts undertaken between End2End and SONOFON to build an attractive and revenue generating application roadmap.

In addition to the applications, End2End is providing SONOFON with the use of its mobile application infrastructure for hosting, managing and supporting its mobile data applications.
