For the End2End Connectivity department in Würzburg, Germany we are seeking:
System Specialist Messaging (m/f) (SMS/MMS) Germany, Würzburg
Requirements:
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education with 2+ years work experience.
- Relevant experience in analysing and bug fixing in complex mobile communication systems.
- Experience in the following computer languages: BASH, Perl, PHP.
- Relevant knowledge of mobile network services and protocols: GSM/CDMA/TMDA, SMS, WAP, GPRS, UCP, SMPP, SS7, SIGTRAN, GSM-MAP.
- Experience with Unix/Linux/BSD-systems in high-performing data centres.
- Fluency in English (+ German appreciated).
- Strong customer orientation.
Your job:
- System administration, management and optimisation of existing infrastructure, especially of SMSC & MMSC connections.
- Design and architecture in the area of virtualisation, high performance, backup and recovery systems.
- Monitoring and assurance of defined Quality of Service.
